Ordered delivery as the wife had a craving, so can't comment on the venue. Delivery was decent timing for a Sunday at dinner time. Ordered lo mein, chicken fried rice and steamed dumplings. The food was good, just good. Nothing spectacular. The steamed dumplings were a bit "runny" but ok. A bit pricey but it was filling, portion sizes are good, have enough to eat for 3 nights. Lol

My wife and myself buy take out and sometimes we eat in at the Restaurant. Its not always they are at their best standard but I must say in general this our favourite chinese food place to eat in Boca Raton Florida. Would deffinitely recommend a visit.

The food is great in my opinion...others would say otherwise. The decor is terrible and the workers have their kids playing on their iPads at tables... What's with that? But the food makes up for the rest..... Take out great and fast.

We have used this restaurant for delivery for about a year now, and it's awesome! Don't love the atmosphere for dine-in, but love delivery! Special requests are always honored, and the order is correct...a rarity these days! Delivery takes just as long as they tell you it will...not longer! Delicious, fresh taste!

The only good thing was the rice. BBQ ribs were horrible dry with no sauce waste of money

Mmmm Chinese food! What a friendly and efficient family owned restaurant! My girlfriend and I had the Buddah veggie dish with egg drop soup and spring rolls and it was delicious!

Very good. General Tso's Chicken was cooked perfect. Most places overcook it and that burns me up, but not this place. I didn't care for the regular fried rice but my coworker said the pork fried rice was good. The wonton soup was good and I liked having warm tea at the table. Dinner also came with an egg roll that was tasty. Service wasn't bad, a little slow but not bad. They kinda bring things out slowly. First the wonton soup and once we finished that they brought the egg rolls. Once those were gone our main dishes arrive about 10 min later. Overall not a bad place. I gave 4 stars because the chicken was cooked to perfection.

My family and I have eaten in and taken out from the Palace multiple times. I have to say each time we were not disappointed. Having spent years searching for good Chinese food at reasonable price We have found it. Mixed and Wonton soups are great and the noddles have always been fresh. We have ordered General Tso chicken, beef with vegetables and lo mein. Each dish came with an egg roll. They offer lunch and dinner portions. Prices just right. Good stuff.

very friend,y service, extremely detail oriented, but the food is only slightly better than the decor, which was basically old school dim-sum palace meets total-lack-of-cleaning for the last 10 years. There was food on the carpets, the window, the blinds - it was close to nasty. Bathroom was hysterical...great tile work, nice sink, but the stalls are made of plywood, cut to the wrong size so the doors won't close, with no toilet paper dispenser. Really just a sloppy place with an extremely nice waitress. oh, the food... meh.

I was drawn by the Yelp categorization of Dim Sum, but that was a lie. A few dumplings on the menu does not make it a dim sum restaurant. The decor is a bit dated and a worn and the carpet could use a good shampooing. The fried noodles and duck sauce on the table screams old fashioned Chinese Restaurant but the menu has a few items that are not typical of an American Chinese restaurant (i.e. Hot Pot. Pad Thai, and Ginger and Scallion fish.) That being said, most of the menu seemed pretty standard and utilitarian. Service was not speedy as it feels like I've watched more CNN on the TV than I have in years. (I'm writing this review in real time.) That Anthony Bourdain is quite amusing. I would have to say that the food was neither bad nor memorable, probably leaning towards the bland side but at least the portions are generous. Service is apathetic as my water glass has been empty for a while and I would love more rice but the waitress seems pretty engaged in her (loud) conversation with her coworker. I finally get her attention from across the room by waving at which point she instructs her coworker to bring me the check, though I was merely looking for water. I guess my time is up and since I'm the only customer in the place, I assume that they would like their privacy. It's just as well, since the waitress has started yelling into her cell phone.

Like most Chinese restaurants in a strip mall the atmosphere is not amazing, and pretty much what you would expect for a Chinese place... but the food and the service were fantastic! I took my 2 kids & my niece and nephew and we got the lunch specials which are priced wonderfully! $6 to $7 each for a ton of food. I had a bite of them all and they all were great! Will definitely go back again!

3.5 Lucky P is a solid Chinese food restaurant. It isn't the best Chinese you'll have but unless you're in NYC not much will be. It is more than serviceable when you're in need of your fix. Chinese food and a can of coke is a perfect combination and every once in a while I get that fix at Lucky Palace. I've never ate inside, but their take-out is really convenient. Their staff is courteous, prices are reasonable and their food is good. I prefer the shrimp and garlic sauce meal but have had their chow fun and thought it was pretty good as well. It's a really great neighborhood Chinese restaurant when you consider your options and your residency.

Great little family restaurant. Food was awesome and the prices are low. Great find in a (kind of yucky) strip mall. Like most small family restaurants the interior leaves you flat ... but who cares when the food is delicious! Had the shrimp and veggies - very solid - good flavor. Also had a beef and noodle dish (forgot the name but picture is on the menu) - wow super yummy. A great place for kids - staff was super friendly and gave the kids free ice cream. NICE!

Whether its a weekly meal or a once in a while fix, this place does it. The food is really good, the place is clean and the service is very courteous. Had the chow fun last night and if i didn't know better i would have thought i was at Hop Kee in Chinatown. The noodles were fresh and perfectly cooked, dark, just like i like them and for less than $10, just the way it should be. Have been eating here for many years and through a few management changes but the food has only gotten better. They don't have some of the dishes i enjoy at Silver Pond, thats the only reason I'm not giving them five stars, but for what hey have its all 5 star. This is the place to go for traditional Chinese food at reasonable prices! Enjoy!

No stars is more like it. This was one of the times I should have turned around and walked out but didn't. Atmosphere is older than dirt - and yes, quite dirty. Dated and ceiling appeared water damaged and about to crumble. Without getting into the particulars, food was just awful - don't waste your money or worse yet risk your health.

Do not order takeout from this place. We ordered take out last night and literally threw it in the trash. The chicken was slimy, the noodle dish was bright pink. I have never written a negative review on Yelp, but I feel like I need to warn others of this place. Truly, disgusting and inedible.

Have been frequenting Lucky Palace for over 3 years now. Quality of food started out fine, then began to deteriorate over time. Since the place was always empty, they recently started sending out mass snail mailings of their new menu design. Yep, new menu design only, same mediocre food. I also have qualms with the waiters who have an annoying habit of placing their thumbs in my plate as they serve my food. This is unacceptable and unsanitary. Please hold the plates from the bottom! The only plus: prices are reasonable, and the shrimp is jumbo. I only frequent LP out of convenience/last resort.

A pleasant surprise. I have driven by this place for about 15 years thinking it was just another Chinese restaurant. The menu had the usual fare and many items I have never seen before. I had the Lemmon chicken. It was a huge portion and very well presented. It turns out they are a gourmet Chinese restaurant and the prices were about the same as your neighborhood restaurant. I will be back.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
